Formerly of Pembroke, NH - Joanna Mary (Cavanagh) Cloe, 79, passed away in Florida April 17th after a short illness. She was formerly a longtime resident of Pembroke, NH and member of St. John the Baptist Church.

She was born in Battle, Sussex, England October 20, 1944. The daughter of Lt Cmdr Patrick Cavanagh and Ursula Mary (Cantopher) Cavanagh, she was educated in England before traveling to the US, where she later settled in NH.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edward Cloe; son Timothy Cloe (Denise); daughter Penny Cloe (Shawn); daughter Courtney Cole (Thomas); 4 beloved grandchildren; brother Nicholas Cavanagh; brother Jonathan Cavanagh (Nebiur); sister-in-law Gwenyth Zeno; and many cherished cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as countless dear friends.

She was pre-deceased by her sister Antonia Beamish, sisters-in-law Claire L'Enfant and Ernestine Hawkins and brother-in-law Kenneth Zeno.

Joanna worked with children throughout her 30+ year career, first with her own home daycare and later moving into Special Education at Bow High School.

She loved to travel, read, listen to classical music, play games and bake, and treasured time with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The family will be having a private burial at a later date.
