James Leonard DeBolt, 86, of Palmetto, Florida, formerly of Washington, PA, passed on April 17, 2024. He was born on December 17, 1937, in Morgantown, West Virginia, to the late Leonard and Thelma DeBolt. Jim lived the majority of his life in Washington, PA, until moving to Florida in 2009.
Jim is survived by his wife, Patti; a son, Scott DeBolt (Carol); a stepdaughter, Kelli Gee Kiger (John); a stepson, Matt Gee; granddaughters, Monika Chiesa (Brad), Stephanie McKay (Matt), and Marlee Gray (Morgan); and a step-granddaughter, Liliana Kiger; and many great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, James Matthew DeBolt, D.O.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 1-2 PM, followed by a service at 2 PM at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd Street West, Bradenton, Florida, 34209. Burial will be private in Washington, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made in his name to Church of the Palms Student Ministry in Sarasota, Florida.
